Step 1 — Install MetaTrader 4
Download and install MetaTrader 4 from your preferred broker.
- Use a stable broker connection
- Ensure auto trading is allowed
- Consider VPS hosting for continuous operation
Step 2 — Copy EA Files
Open your MT4 data folder and place the EA file inside the Experts folder.
MT4 → File → Open Data Folder → MQL4 → Experts
Step 3 — Restart MT4
Restart MetaTrader 4 after copying the EA files.
The EA should appear inside:
Navigator → Expert Advisors
Step 4 — Enable Auto Trading
- Enable “AutoTrading” at the top of MT4
- Allow DLL imports if required
- Allow live trading in EA settings
Step 5 — Attach EA to Chart
Drag the EA onto your selected chart and configure settings according to your risk preference.
- Select appropriate timeframe
- Adjust lot sizing carefully
- Verify spread conditions
- Review basket settings
